How to shoot a dark and moody portrait in the middle of the day
Overpower daylight with portable flash for an atmospheric outdoor portrait.
Although this image looks as though it was taken after dusk, as you’ll see from the video it was actually captured during a fairly bright but cloudy day.
In the video, I explain how I overpowered the ambient light using a battery-powered soft box, and how you can do the same with any portable flash.
