Much as I have loved the logotype and colours we’ve used across the site, I have meant to clean everything up for a while. I am not sure this is the final version but, well, it’s easy to get bogged down in over-thinking these things so I thought I’d start tidying things up and see what happens in terms of traffic and conversions. It’s funny: when I first built both this site and my Paul Wilkinson Photography branding, it never occurred to me to be worried. We didn’t have any subscribers or followers, so nothing really mattered. Now, with 1000s of subscribers, it scares the hell out of me! But therein lies the problem I talk about quite a bit – as you grow, everything becomes scarier.
So I thought I’d ignore the fear and jump right back in as I would if it were a vanilla site.
The new logotype:
I wanted something, clean, modern, bright. Something we can drop in anywhere. Also, I wanted a simple, clear logo that would look strong when used as a watermark on the videos:
Haven’t designed new logos for a while so hopefully, you think they work!
