So I ve loved photography all my life and its my comfort zone. Dabble with friends weddings and group shots and engagements for friends but nothing professional. Hoping to concentrate more on this since giving up my nursing career for flexibility if life.

Hi Paul, I was working at home and found your podcast by accident, I was captured by your enthusiasm for portraiture I have recently dabbled in this area, mainly because my Mum met her great granddaughter for the first time a few months back. I wanted to capture the moment and create a photo book for both to remember the visit. Hi Paul, I haven’t scoured through everything yet, so this might be here somewhere. What would be a huge help to me is finding a quicker way to get my images from out of camera raw to viewing ready jpegs in double quick time. It currently takes me about 30 to 40 minutes a session and as I do usually 4 shoots a day, that’s 2 to 2 1/2 hours spent doing this. I’ve gradually developed a pretty convoluted way of doing things but it does give me nice results, I just want to get there quicker. Typically I shoot… Read more »

One of my favorite images of yours is the black and white portrait of elderly lady ,who looked to have lived so much her face told a story and was so engaging . 10 out of 10 from me . Inspirational .
