Mastering Off-Camera Lighting
As a master of available light, Paul is well-known for his location portraits with nothing more than a camera in his hand and a big grin. But adding off-camera lighting brings a whole new set of opportunities (and can give you an escape route if the weather clamps down or you’re shooting after the sun has set!)
In this energetic, hands-on masterclass, Paul will show you how to create stunning portraits using off-camera light, whether as the key light on your subject or adding a little flare to raise your images to the next level.

In this workshop, Paul will cover:
- Different types of off-camera lighting from off-camera flash to continuous light
- Using modifiers on your off-camera lighting
- Positioning your lights for stunning portraits
- Combining one and two lights
- Setting up your camera for off-camera flash
- Blending your available and off-camera light for the best effect
The number of attendees is strictly limited to 5 for this workshop, ensuring everyone plenty of hands-on time with the studio, the lights and the models. This is a hands-on day rather than a desk-based masterclass.
