One-light studio headshot with shallow depth of field

One lens, one light and... one ladder. This is my absolute FAVOURITE type of shoot and it's so simple. Watch the video to see how I captured a beautifully flattering portrait of Sam with a shallow depth of field in the studio (and how you can replicate the effect with your lights). Here, I use a grey background behind Sam, but don't worry if you only have white paper: I explain how to make it look grey behind your subject.
